Learning data science is not simple. It will take a lot of work, energy, and a lot of time from you. as we all know for a fact that no one can master data science in 1 month. My personal opinion (based on students I worked with) is that the learning process will take ~6-9 months from zero to the junior level.

The first step to becoming a data scientist is typically earning a bachelor’s degree in data science or a related field, but other ways to learn data science skills, such as a Bootcamp or through the military. You may also consider pursuing a specialization or certification or earning a master’s degree in data science before getting your first entry-level data scientist job.

Using solid communication, collaboration, & time management strategies, data scientists can cultivate a successful work-from-home experience.

There is a wide scope of Data Science in India, including the improvement in technology. Hence, data science emerged as one of the most exciting career spans you have known as firstly, having an undergraduate degree in computer science or a relevant stream. But Also, Must know how to run programs & software, such as Python, Pig, Hadoop, SQL, & more.

Analytics Insight has projected that by 2024, there will be 138,630 data science job opportunities in India, growing 63,793 jobs in 2021. Analytics Insight also predicted 73,337 data science job opportunities in India next year. Yet, despite the job opportunities in the number of thousands, there is a deficiency in the public job sector.

Indian IT companies have recognized analytics & big data as the next major growth operators. Faced with a drenched global IT assistance market, Indian corporations have started developing their analytics service contributions. This has directed to a huge scop for trained data scientists amongst IT companies.

Data scientists are about average in terms of comfort. At Career Explorer, we conduct an ongoing survey with millions of people & ask them how convinced they are with their professions. As it returns out, data scientists rate their career satisfaction 3.3 out of 5 stars which puts them in the top 43% of professions.

You can think about the data increase from IoT as well as from social data at the knife. If we look a little more advanced, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that by 2025, around five years from now, there will be 10.3 million jobs in data science and analytics.

Following are the expertise needed to become a data scientist

Technical Skills: Computer Science

Python Coding. Python is the most common coding language I typically see required in data science roles and Java, Perl, or C/C++

Hadoop Platform.

SQL Database/Coding

Apache Spark

Unstructured data

Does a data scientist code?

The answer is yes. Data scientists can code. … If they have a data engineer or a machine learning engineer, that can help them put their code in production and finalize some of the things they’re doing.

Is Data science is different than Machine Learning?

Data Science is a field about processes & systems to the extraction of data from also structured semi-structured data. Machine Learning is a field of study that gives computers the ability to learn without being explicitly programmed.
